Obituary of Milton O. Wood

Milton O. "Bud" Wood, age 82, a resident of North Wilmington, DE for over 50 years passed away peacefully on January 5, 2018. Born in Ridley Park, PA, Bud was a member of the Delaware Army National Guard serving a 35 year career before retiring as a Brigadier General . Bud was an engineer during his career with DuPont. He was devoted to his church and faith where he served as Lay Pastor at the Trainer United Methodist Church. A 50 year Master Mason, he was a Past Potentate of NUR Shrine Temple. He also served on the board of trustees for the Shriners Children's Hospital. In his spare time, Bud was an avid bowler. In addition to his parents, John and Johanna Wood, Bud is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (nee) Wright with her passing on December, 23, 2017. He is survived by 3 children, Karen (Thomas) St. John, Thomas Wood and John (Debbie) Wood, and 6 grandchildren, Daniel (Emily) Quintana, Jacquelyn (Daniel) Putman, Alexander (Courtney) Wood, Michael Wood, Julia Wood and Nathan Keller. A visitation for both Bud and his wife Barbara will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018, 1:00-2:00PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA followed by a memorial service at 2:00PM. Interment, private. Donations in his memory may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 3551 N.
