Obituary of Michael L. Weeks

Michael L. Weeks, age 60, of Claymont, DE passed away on December 8, 2017 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital. Raised in Linwood, PA, Michael has resided in Claymont for 33 years. He graduated from St. James High School, class of 1975 where he also played Ice Hockey and afterwards attended Penn State University. Michael was a manager for Giant Foods for many years. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and in his children's younger years, he coached their softball teams. He enjoyed spending time with his family and children, however his love of his grandchildren, Carter and Meredith were his most cherished times. He will also be sadly missed by his dog, Sophie. Michael was known as a Philadelphia sports fan and enjoyed his time spent at the Delaware beaches. He is preceded in death by his mother, Regina T. Weeks. Michael is survived by his wife of 37 years, Maryellen Anglim Weeks, daughters, Kristen (Jason) Neff and Kimberly (David) Weeks, 2 grandchildren, Carter and Meredith Neff, sister & brother in laws, Patricia McGowan, Laurel (James) Detzi, Thomas (Karen) Anglim, Eileen (James) Kogut, Cynthia Anglim and many nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Thursday night, 7-9PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday 10:30AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3200 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE. Interment, Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
