Obituary of Reece J. Thomas

Reece J. Thomas, age 58, of Garnet Valley, PA died suddenly on October 11, 2017. Born to the late Reece L. Jr. and Mary Oates Thomas in Darby, PA, he was a lifelong resident of Bethel Twp., PA. An automotive mechanic, he recently worked for Glauner Auto Body in Parkesburg, PA. Reece graduated form Garnet Valley High School and Marple Vo-Tech, class of 1977. He was a life member of the Bethel Hose Co. #1 where he served as former chief engineer. Reece pastime was restoring antique cars. He was a life member of the AACA, member of the East Penn Traction Club, the HCCP, MARC, SAAC and the MARCA. Reece is survived by his 4 siblings, Robert and Richard (Janine) Thomas, Maureen (John) Sopko and Michele (Robert) McDaniel, also numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. A visitation will be held on Tuesday 6-8PM & Wednesday 10-11AM, at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Funeral Services at 11:00AM. Interment, Siloam U.M. Church Cemetery, Garnet Valley, PA. Donations in his memory may be made to Bethel Hose Co. #1, 3737 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA 19060.
