Obituary of Neil Hart

Neil A. Hart, age 52, was a father, husband, friend, son, and great man. He lived his life full of love and touched every day with a joyful energy. He went peacefully on Saturday, April 29th, 2017. Born April 28th,1965, in Somerset County, England, Neil and his family emigrated to the United States in 1966. Preceded in death by his sister, Debra J. Hart, he is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Ana, his two sons, Duncan and Brendan, his parents, Derek and Janet, his sister, Sandra Sommers, and his two deeply cherished labradors, Atticus and Cooper. Neil was an avid Philadelphia Flyers fan, an Eagle Scout, a talented trumpet player who marched for the Baltimore Colts Marching Band, and a die hard Jimmy Buffett parrothead. He was a graduate of Concord High School and Widener University, classes of 83' and 88'. His viewing will be held at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA on Tuesday, May 2nd, from 6-8 pm, followed by a service on Wednesday the 3rd, with visitation starting at 9:00 am and the service beginning at 10:00. A luncheon will be held after the Lawn Croft Cemetery services. As Neil lived his life with joy and levity, it is preferred by the family that bright springy colors be worn, and if possible, Hawaiian shirts. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Delaware chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation via www.jdrf.org.
