Obituary of William H. Waldron

William H. Waldron III, age 63, of Millsboro, DE died suddenly on April 11, 2017 at home. Born in Chester, he was the son of the late William Jr. and Ann Scull Waldron. Bill graduated from St. James High School, class of 1970. A resident of Millsboro for the past 15 years, he was a longtime resident of Chester, PA. Bill was devoted to his career as a firefighter and retired from the Chester Fire Company after 28 years in 2001. He was a member of the International Association of Firefighters. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on cars, fishing and crabbing and was known as an avid Notre Dame sports fan. Bill is preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Waldron who died in December of 2016. He is survived by his son, Joseph A. Waldron, cousins, Michelle Waldron Rollman and Gabriel Waldron and a nephew, Brandon Waldron. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 8:30-9:30AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Rd., Glen Mills, PA. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Williams name may be made to National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (www.firehero.org/donate).
